Toshiba is preparing an improved camera for gadgets

 Toshiba Corporation has developed the T4K37 13-megapixel CMOS sensor for use in a variety of mobile devices. Toshiba assures that with the help of the new matrix it will be possible to obtain high-quality images even in low light conditions. The cameras will be on sale in 2013.




Toshiba has unveiled the T4K37 13-megapixel CMOS sensor for use in cameras in smartphones and tablet computers.


The new product has a pixel size of 1.12 micrometers. At the same time, as stated, the matrix allows you to obtain images equivalent in quality to images taken using sensors best wifi names 2020 with a pixel size of 1.4 micrometers.


Improved quality was achieved through the use of backlight technology (BSI) and chromatic (color) noise reduction (CNR). As a result, high quality photos are achieved even in low light conditions.


The matrix is ​​suitable for use in camera modules with dimensions 8.5 x 8.5 mm.


Trial shipments of the T4K37 product will begin in December for $ 20. The first portable devices with cameras based on this wifi names matrix will appear in 2020.
