Tetherboard has begun fundraising for the production of a unique Tethercell product that allows you to control any battery-powered device using your smartphone. The product itself is an AA adapter with a controller and Bluetooth 4.0 module installed.

Tetherboard is using Indiegogo's community funding platform to raise funds to launch a Tethercell product that enables remote control of any AA-powered device.

Tethercell is a AAA adapter for an AAA battery. Tethercell has a built-in controller and wireless module for Bluetooth 4.0 with low energy consumption.

With the help of a special application for smartphones, users can turn on and off devices with a Tethercell element, program the operation of gadgets on a schedule, and also monitor the battery charge level. At the same time, regardless of the number of batteries in the device, best wifi names only one Tethercell module is sufficient.

The control application currently exists for the and wifi names iOS mobile operating system; the release of the Android version is planned in the future.

To start the release of Tethercell, developers need at least $ 59 thousand. At the time of this writing, about $ 14 thousand was raised, 40 days remain until the end of fundraising. Tethercell will cost about $ 30.
